Bacon and Eggs Breakfast Pizza Recipe
It’s September – which means it’s back to school time!
My kids have been back for a few weeks now and are starting to get back into the routine. The routine of go, go, go that is. With all the rushing around in the mornings, after school activities, and homework we don’t have a lot of time to make big dinners or from-scratch breakfasts.
Today, I’ve got a great recipe for a bacon and eggs breakfast pizza that comes together in just a few minutes and is perfect for those nights when you’re craving breakfast for dinner. Even better, the leftovers are just as yummy heated up for a quick breakfast the next morning.
Growing up, it was always a reason to celebrate when mom would announce we were having breakfast for dinner (usually because that meant pancakes). These days, our family is more bacon and eggs and less pancakes for breakfast, but the kids still get excited when I tell them we are having breakfast for dinner.
I decided to shake it up this time and combine our favorite meals of pizza with bacon and Davidson’s Safest Choice® pasteurized eggs for this cheesy, yummy bacon and eggs breakfast pizza. I like to use Davidson’s™ eggs when cooking and baking. Their eggs are pasteurized in an all-natural warm water bath which eliminates bacteria and prevents the threat of Salmonella from eggs.
