Making the Safest Choice for our Planet >

On 04.22.2013 by Chantel Arsenault

In honor of Earth Day I wanted to share many of the ways the Safest Choice™ team works hard towards being an environmentally responsible and sustainable business. I appreciate knowing that sustainability and being green is not only important to me, but to our entire team. In the two years that I have worked for the Safest Choice, I have been impressed to see numerous changes occur throughout our production facilities.  We actively recycle, reuse, and repurpose many different materials including our egg cartons and shipping materials. On 12.19.2012 by Chantel Arsenault

On Saturday, December 15th, Safest Choice Eggs hosted a Holiday Eggs-travaganza at the Fullerton, California Albertsons store location. There were three holiday recipe demonstrations, food serving tips and lots of good company. Catherine McCord, of the Weelicious blog, and Chef Louise Mellor, of the Geez Louise blog, were kind enough to help us with our recipe demonstrations. Louise kicked off the event by showing the group how to make a safe Caesar salad using our pasteurized eggs. Louise adapted our recipe for the holidays by adding in Asian pears and dried cranberries. And true to her style, she suggested serving Caesar salad in vintage bowls or cocktail cups. Her recipe looked very festive! A great group of bloggers attended the Eggs-travaganza, which was part of Albertsons Read More >
