Caramel Apple Pie Eggnog Recipe

The name alone inspires an “Mmm!” People will be talking about this dessert-like treat long after the last sip is gone!

Ingredients

  • 4 Safest Choice™ pasteurized egg(s)
  • 1 can (21 oz) apple pie filling
  • 1 1/2 c milk
  • 1 tsp apple or pumpkin pie spice
  • whipped cream for garnish
  • caramel ice cream topping for garnish
  • cinnamon sticks (optional)
  • apple wedges (optional)

Preparation

  1. Combine eggs and apple pie filling in blender. Blend on high speed until very smooth, scraping container as needed.
  2. Add milk and apple pie spice. Blend on high speed until smooth.
  3. Pour into glass or mug and top each serving with whipped cream and caramel topping. Sprinkle with additional apple pie spice and garnish with cinnamon stick or apple wedge, if desired.

Variations

To kick it up a notch, stir 3/4 cup dark spiced rum into the mixture after final blending.
